BLOGIVERSARY: FashionLayn Turns 4 !!

FashionLayn turns 4 years old today! BLOGIVERSARY!

I started not to post this. I was kinda feeling like who really cares… But… Skip that! I am going to celebrate my blogging career. Blogging is hard and it deserves to be celebrated.

I have been blogging for 4 years straight now. Omg, I can’t believe it! Thank you to all that have supported my journey! Read a post or two, took my pictures, and kept me motivated. Thank you to those that gave me honest hard feedback… tough to hear but I heard you. Y’all are the real MVPs. I continue to blog for you all. You all make a girl feel so important. I finally have a voice… and I can share it! Thank you for handing me the megaphone to speak my peace.

Now when I initially thought about blogging I knew for sure it was going to be easy. I was going to grow my following fast. Sponsorships were doing to falling in my lap. Collaborating was going to breeze Haha silly Alayna…. I was so wrong. Building a platform is not easy! Over the course of my blogging journey, I have never worked so hard in my life! I learned to work smarter not harder. I learned to grow my audience by interacting and networking… something that was never going to come easily to me. I learned that it’s okay to ask for help. Also, I figured out that if you want something then you have to go get it yourself. Closed mouths don’t get fed. I felt that in my soul. FashionLayn definitely thicken up my skin and really made me better person. So I am going to keep pushing forward. Being creative, and finding ways to help my audience!

Consistency is more important than perfection.

So as I sit here at my parent’s home, scheduling my February content, I am thankful to see another year of passion and growth. Cheers to new opportunities, growth, collaborations, and sponsorship!
