Dear Diary… I Struggle With Self Advocacy for Myself

Dear Diary… I want to welcome you all my diary. Where I will share all of my personal thoughts and things that I struggle. Self Advocacy is personal skillset that I struggle with all of my life. I can only remember a handful of times that I actually stood up for myself. Most of the time I avoid confrontation and anything causing me to feel uncomfortable. Anyway I was reintroduce to the topic of self advocacy in therapy. For the past few months my mental wellness journey has uncover a lot of things. One being that I rarely ever stand up for myself… In other words, why do I struggle with self advocacy/ standing up for myself In today’s diary post, I am going to share my thoughts of self advocacy and why at times it was hard for me. How I Keep My Mask Clean During the Pandemic ?

Well for me I keep plenty of masks in rotation and I wear a clean mask everyday. How To Stop Overthinking and Find Peace.

Are you a victim of overthinking? We all do it. It could be worrying about something, fear, anxiety, or self-doubt. I have mention it so many times before, but I am an overthinker. Every time I think I have it master. It comes back to haunt me. Sheesh, I can make a mole hill and turn it into a mountain. Is it me or I am I the only one going stir crazy being stuck at home? I know the first few weeks in March, was absolutely hard for me. I was so bored, and really going nuts trying to socially distance myself from people. Now I know in order to do our part in flattening the curve, we have to stay at home.  I am not going to lie it has been hard from time to time. Improving your life does not have to be hard. Small changes are very beneficial to improving my life.  A sis is getting older and she can’t be doing the same thing she was doing in her early 20s. It is something that I constantly and consistently work on -Day by day.  It does not have to be super big gesture.  Small steps in the right directions can help with personal development. Like myself, some of us are accustomed to thinking negatively, berating ourselves down. “I can’t”, “I won’t”,  and “I’m not”…. Do you even realize how many times you may say this to yourself?
