Happy Leap Day everyone. Now I can’t send off February without sharing my one Black Owned Brand I am loving. In today’s series of Black Owned Spotlight I am sharing brand names K. Lorayne Apparel. This brand put highlight on streetwear and casual essentials. I am girl that love a good everyday fit, and basic essentials are my favorite. The brand I came across on Instagram is know as K. Lorayne Apparel aka KLo Apparel. Let’s chat about it.
About K. Lorayne Apparel
Let me start by saying this brand was on my Black owned business list to patronize. I’ve been dying to try this brand for the longest. I came across K. Lorayne Apparel through Instagram (@kloapparel) and have been keeping up with their stock.
First, K. Lorayne Apparel is a clothing brand founded by a third generation seamstress, name Krystle Lorayne. Inspired by her own mother she who is well known for her endeavors. Krystle created her brand , which was manifested in 2012. Awesome right! Thus, Krystle’s eye is fire when it comes to designing, making women feel great in their essentials and luxuries. What I Got from K. Lorayne Apparel
So let’s get into the look. I have mention that I am a true lover of basic wear and essentials and my purchase definitely resembles that. Like K.Lorayne motto less is more, and I like wearing less and minimalist outfits on those on the go days. Thus, K. Lorayne Apparel has a great collections when it comes to the essentials, and every day wear. Alright, let me tell you want I purchase.
KLo Gracie Skirt
First, I purchase their Gracie Skirt in the color sea foam in the size Large/XLarge. The skirt has a relaxed fit. Specifically, it is a maxi skirt design that features a raw hem line. In addition to, I mostly love the length and waffle like material that was use to design this skirt. Lastly, the color is very rich which why I am so attracted to this fit.
On the other hand, you must note the fit of the skirt on the website is listed as true to size. For example, I purchase the Large/XLarge. I believe I could have gotten away with a S/M size. It has a great stretch to fit which why I think I could have size down a bit. Furthermore ,if you like your skirt to be fitted perhaps sized down. On the other hand, if you like a skirt loose keep with your orginal size. Thus, keep that in mind if you are think about ordering the Gracie skirt from K. Lorayne Apparel.

KLo Shiloh Turtleneck
In addition to ordering the skirt, I purchase the Shiloh Turtleneck in the color sea foam in size S/M. Again the color is so beautiful. To describe the turtleneck it is a fitted and cropped style. In addition, it the material is known to be a cotton material, very smooth feel. KLo did there thing when designing this turtleneck; I am in love. The quality of this turtleneck is chefs kiss. Specificially, I love the quality of the turtleneck: the material use to design and quality.
Overall, the material use to make each piece is incredible. It is thick, smooth, and no where near sheer. I do feel some piece are I will definitely spend for the quality alone, as it guarantee to last for long time. Thus, I appreciate thick cotton material for my basic wear.

Shipping & Handling
Next, I was generally surprise how fast I received my package. Per the site when ordering my package was projected to be received on February 28th. For example, I confirmed my order on February 13. Then soon after, my order was shipped out on February 15 and I received my package in the mail Feb 21. Not bad at all; truly satisfied. To learn more about shipping, visit here.
To summarize I spent roughly $110, and $10 for shipping. My overall cost was $119.19 in total. Not bad for a whole set from K. Lorayne, however I have seen cheaper options for matching set . On the contrary, you get what you pay for, and this set in my opinion is top tier when it comes to quality. So, I will spend extra to ensure I get the best quality to my essentials and basic wear. In addition, Klarna, Afterpay are available for alternative styles of payment which is plus. Overall, I am so happy with my purchase, and the quality. K. Lorayne has my stamp of approval and do plan to order again in the near future.
