Favorite Face Products

Collecting complexion products is my favorite, especially when the brand has shades for medium and deeper complexed products

In this category I have tons of favorite face products, all ranging from powders to liquid foundations.

Powders | Bronzers | Blushes

The Lip Bar

The Lip Bar is black owned, women owned business! To add The Lip Bar brand that comes from the Detroit. This brand started out with lipstick, and lip glosses; Now they are expanding their brand by add tons of affordable complexion products, and eye shadows.

The Lip Bar Minute Finish 4-1 Face Palette “Stuntin”. This product features a fave powder, blush, contour shade, and highlight. So bomb for the days you need to get out the house quick.  I use this product everyday, especially on those days I am running late.

Next product that I loving are The Lip Bar Fresh Glow Bronzer + Blush duo. I have them in Double Date (featuring Bronzer: Boo’d Up | Blush: Wine+Dine). The next one Just Got Paid (featuring: Bronzer: Direct Deposit | Blush: Shopping Spree). If you know me, you know how much I love a rich warm bronzers. The Lip Bar is giving me life. To add the duos come with glowy blushes that complement your skin. So radiant!

You can find this brand at selected Target store or online, The Lip Bar Detroit Store, and The Lip Bar website.

Fenty Beauty

Next on my must have list is another favorite bronzer. Fenty Beauty Sun Stalk’r Instant Warm Bronzer in the shade Coco Naughty. This is another business that I love. From my understanding is it not fully black owned, however it is an inclusive brand. Foundations and shades range from light to deepest dark.  Fenty Beauty got it right the first time, and help shine a light for inclusiveness in the beauty community. I I am fan of most of all her products.

You can find Fenty Beauty in Sephora, and Fenty Beauty website.

Beauty Bakerie

Beauty Bakerie is another black owned and women owned business. It is now full cosmetic line, that features, foundations, eye, and lip products. The is line is one of the most creative brands I have ever saw.  Last on my face products list is the Beauty Bakerie Flour Setting Powder. This another black owned, women owned business.  What pores? This will keep you matte sis. I wear this on the nights I know I am going to dance.

You can find her products online, and Ulta.

Foundation

Again, Fenty Beauty and The Lip Bar are my favorite black owned or inclusive cosmetic lines.  First, my favorite foundation is Fenty Beauty Hydrating Longwear foundation in the shade 420. This is the foundation that Fenty should have gave us when they first launch. The foundation breathable, buildable, and hydrating.  It works well with all my other products I use. It definitely my holy grail!

You can find Fenty Beauty in Sephora, and Fenty Beauty website.

My next favorite foundation is the Fast Face Skin Serum Foundation from The Lip Bar. They launch their foundation last year. I also went to their wine/ launch party. I got the foundation in the shade Cinnamon (4:03). This foundation is infuse with a lot of of goodies for your skin. If you like dewy skin, then this is the foundation for you.  It also feature a easy applicator for blending and push up cap to apply foundation. Let me known if you would like to see a full review on this foundation?

Again , you can find this brand at selected Target store or online, The Lip Bar Detroit Store, and The Lip Bar website.

Favorite Eye Products

Eye shadows that are pigmented for brown skin girl, yess !!

Let me be clear, Anastasia Beverly Hills is not a black owned brand. However, ABH gives us some bomb collaborations.  In my opinion, the one of the best collaborative eye shadow palettes, last year was  ABH Jackie Ania eye shadow palette!!

If you don’t know Jackie Ania, is a well known Youtuber , who advocates for visibility of people of color.  You can tell this palette was well thought out. It is so pigmented and vibrant. It shows that blacks and people or color can wear vibrant colors too. Such a bomb palette.

You can find this palette at Sephora, Ulta, and ABH online.

Favorite Lip Products

Lets not forget about the lips! Pucker Up!

Now for the lips. Most of you know I always go for glossy lip, however when I want to switch it up I go for a red. These are my favorite reds from black owned business.

Uoma Beauty

Uoma Beauty made its stride in the beauty community last year. Launching foundations, concealer, eye shadows and more. All shades from light to dark.  This brand is a Nigerian, black owned business full cosmetic line.

This line has some pretty, creamy, brown skin girl friendly lipsticks. Badass Icon Matte Lipstick line feature lipsticks, all name after black women icon. I have the lipstick in Sade, the amazing singer. This is one of the most comfortable lipsticks I ever worn.

You can find this brand in selected Ulta stores, and Uoma Beauty website

The Lip Bar

Last on my list are my favorite red lippies from The Lip Bar. I have their liquid mattes in Bawse Lady (bestsellers), Hot Mama, and BrickHouse.  I love these mattes because they are long wearing and inexpensive.

Again , you can find this brand at selected Target store or online, The Lip Bar Detroit Store, and The Lip Bar website.
