Food for Thought
Happy Monday,
I currently got my hands on the Black Privilege: Opportunity Comes to Those Who Create It by Charlamagne TheGod. This book is shedding so much light on my life right now. My favorite principal out the book is to “Put the Weed in the Bag!” Now to all my follower please don’t think I am or Charlamagne are not glorifying weed or drugs. It came for the hip hop movie called Belly. DMX stated “Learn how to put da weed in the bag first…. Then get money! Its all a process. Charlamagne is saying in his book , “you have the embrace the process before you can reap the rewards”
Book: Black Privilege: Opportunity Comes to Those Who Create it
I wrote a post yesterday on Instagram about this especially as a blogger. I really though Charlamagne was talking to me. You can not go from 0 to 100 real quick this is real life. And I must say I though blogging was going to be easy. Its so not I honestly thought I was going to get sponsors, collab all the time. I don’t know what I was thinking lol. How do I expect to get all this stuff… I am not entitled to anything. Alayna what are you thinking. You have nothing to show for and honestly nobody is not gonna give you anything.
You have crawl before you walk
You have to learn before you can teach
You have to embrace your process in what field you choice to pursue and that’s real.
I am learning as a blogger that you have to work your ass off all the time. You have to make time, honestly do a lot of stuff yourself. I have to put a lot to stuff together on my own all the time. Makeup, concepts everything and it can be really overwhelming. Sometimes you don’t get all the credit you deserve at time. It all a process. But I love to blogging. So I am gonna keep at it.
Whoever is thinking about blogging I am not trying to shy you away from it. I am just saying that anything that you do in life you have to work very hard at it.
Get the book !
