Happy Tuesday! We are in full swing of the winter weather. Yes, coats are necessary and essentials. Lets chat about my favorite outerwear trend the #winterseason. One winter trend that I am loving are shearling coats. I remember it be a trend in high school, so this nostalgic for me. Anyway, shearling coat is picking up and making a comeback for the winter season. I was so happy when I found an affordable version of the faux shearling coat on Amazon. To be honest, Amazon have been coming through for me with the affordable fashion. Let chat about it. In today’s post I am sharing my new in shearling coat, and how I would style my coat.

So Why This Shearling Coat?
As I mention before I am in love with the shearling trend. This coat is super stylish and warm. So I had to find an affordable version to save my coins. So, I found this affordable faux shearling coat off of Amazon. I took a chance. This faux shearling features a zipper closure in the front. In addition, zipper pocket, and faux suede lining. It is super thick material that is guarantee to keep you warm. Overall, I think this a great addition to your winter wardrobe. Considering, the authentic shearling is more pricey, this is a great affordable coat
I purchase the coat in a XL. This coat cost $59.99 + shipping and handling cost.
On the flipside, I was skeptical at first. So, I took the risk. It is fabulous affordable coat however it does shed. This coat does shed where the seams were cut. In the description it does mention that. After a few wears, the shedding goes away.
How I Style My Shearling Coat
Now, this coat can easily be style in the Fall or Winter months. I decided to wear my coat with black and white chunky knit sweater. I purchase this sweater a few years ago from Target. To completed the look, I added my thrifted NineWest black denim jeans. Lastly red lace Espirit lug sole boots.
In addition you can style a shearling 4 easy ways…
- Coat with a Chunky Knit Sweater. In addition easy styled Black Pants with Combat Boots.
- Coat with mock neck or turtle neck. Easily add your favorite denim jeans with heeled boots
- Coat with polo shirt with jeans and a shoulder bag
- Coat with a basic t-shirt. In addition, wear trousers with a pair heels
