What’s In My Make Up Bag? | Béis Travel Cosmetic Case

So few weeks ago I finally splurged on a Beis Travel cosmetic case. I’ve been considering purchasing this for quite some time- finally I have it in my possession and I am obsessed with it. The beige color is beautiful however the best features of this makeup bag are the compact mirror, detachable double sided brush holders, and it is spill-proof ! This case is perfect, OKAY!

I’ve became very obsessed with makeup when I started my blog. My collection grew and became very chaotic over past 4 years of blogging. I learn very fast, as blogger I have to learn to do a lot of things on my own, such as makeup. I could not, and still can not afford a makeup artist for my shoots. So my makeup collection is huge from watching makeup tutorials and many trial and errors! This cosmetic case helps me organize my collection for everyday use and travel. Everything I use on daily basis is in my case and everything is organize nicely on my vanity. On today’s post I am going to share my essentials, my holy grails, and all the makeup go-to.

This is newbie to my collection, but the Milk Hydro Grip Primer is a major beast. I was made into a believe that primer is so necessary, after using this primer! I purchased the travel size version of the primer to test for $15. Full size retails for $30. Anyway when applied properly to the skin this will have my make-up lasting all day. For a person that cramps a lot of things in a day , my makeup has to last the whole journey with minimal touch ups. This primer is definitely added to the holy grail collection.

So I mention before that my favorite foundation is the Fenty Beauty Pro Filter  foundation, in the shade 420!  This foundation is something I have to keep in my collection! It is a semi-matte foundations and it works well with my dry skin, I mention this here. I use this foundation when my skin is not so dry. On the other hand, my new favorite foundation is the Too Faced Born This Way foundation, in the shade Butter Pecan. This foundation brings the bomb.com moisture to my face, especially on those very dry days. It is super comfortable and I have say this foundation hold us very well in the winter months.  A little definitely goes a long way. These two foundations have to be in my kit, both are for tan to dark complexioned skin.

To be honest, putting on and blending out concealer is my favorite part of my makeup routine. It so soothing to do, idk why- it just is. I carry around four different concealers.I need to eliminate a concealer or two but hey I can’t at the moment, LOL! Two are used to conceal my under eye. One I use to clean up my eye brows and the other use to brighten my under eye.  The first two concealers that I use are the Fenty Beauty Pro Filter concealer (shade 390) and Too Faced Born Way multi use concealer (butterscotch). Both work well for a full coverage looks and have a great applicator.

The concealer that goes everywhere with me is the L.A. girl pro concealer in Fawn. I have been using this concealer, I know for 5 year! It is so bomb to me. If I don’t have any of my other concealer this has to be with me at all times, okay!  I use this concealer to clean up my eyebrows when I fill them in. It definitely comes through if I do not have the others at hand. It is super affordable. Lastly, my favorite concealer to brighten my under eye is the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind concealer in golden. This is also and afforable concealer and hides all my dark circles and gives my under eye just enough brightness.

Finding the right setting powder has been and ongoing battle. It is so hard trying to find that right setting powder for dark skin that is not to light, with just the right amount of yellow. My setting powder changes all the time, however my favorite setting powder at the moment is the Makeup Revolution Loose Baking Powder in the shade banana deep. After setting my undereye I set the rest of my face with the Maybelline Fit Me Smooth Press powder in 355 Coconut. I must say Maybelline really have some bomb complexion products on the affordable market! Next I bronze my face with the best bronzer on the market right now, Fenty Beauty Sun Stalker Bronzer in the shade Mocha Mama. I did a review on this product, and if you want to know more, click here. Note: I prefer to bronzer my face instead of contour.  Lastly, the only blush I use is the Nars Orgasm Blush. It my favorite because it is so universal! It works for every occasion.  I have hit pan and I need another one as we speak.

I LOVE my M.A.C. mineralize skinfinish,  in Gold Deposit!  This highlighter is popping and it retails for $35. This is consider to be a bit on the expensive side of things but I swear by it. I have this product for a few years now and it still performs well. It is such a brown-girl friendly highlighter. It has just the right amount of gold and it translates so well on the camera. So this go everywhere I go!

I use both makeup brushes and ELF cosmetic sponge. My Morphe brushes are use for my powder products, highlighters, and eye shadows. On the other hand I use a makeup sponges for my liquid products and to set my under eye. I have so many brushes, it is hard to say which one are my favorite. If you want to see a separate post about my brushes let me know in the comment section. Lastly, my favorite setting spray is Morphe continuous setting mist.  This has to go everywhere with me. It sets my face beautifully and it has a controlled application.
