Happy Thursday! I am back again with another vintage find that has me in a bit of chokehold for the summer. On one of many thrift store runs, shopping for resale shop I ran across these white pants. The pants are reminiscent of cigarette pants or nautical sailor pants. Idk I just know I love them. It was apparent that I had to have them and keep them for myself. These high rise pants that I found at The Salvation Army for $8. Wow right ?!
White pants are definitely a summer essentials that we need to have in our wardrobe. I think I found the best pants and they are reminding me of 80’s!
So in today’s post I am sharing my thoughts on my vintage pants and also how I style them 4 different ways. Let get into it.
As I mention before I found these high waisted pants for The Salvation Army for $8. I said to myself these pants are beautiful. The brand of pants are Gitano based in the 80’s These pants feature 2 side pockets with small detailing on the side and button fasting. In addition, these pants come above the ankles and tailored to waist. The Gitano brand was founded in 70’s made a name itself with growth in the 80’s. Definitely giving VINTAGE stamp!
For more Gitano try these online thrift & resale shops ThredUp, Poshmark, and Etsy.
4 More Ways To Style Vintage Pants
Already these pants look great with printed button up. I also found this shirt at the Salvation Army for $4. I love to cross tie my button up in the front to accentuate my waist. To add to my outfit I paired it with quilted top handle bag. It is vintage Saks bag that I picked up at vintage even in Ferndale, MI.
To complete the look I added my black gold studded slides to the mix.
What do you think of this look?
Let get into the rest of the looks. Check out the video here, and below to see the additional 4 ways to style my pants.
For the first look I decided to try this style hack from IG. To start I took two different color button up shirts and created a two tone shirt. I found this style hack on Instagram. I took two shirt, one in green, the other in burnt orange.
These shirts are men’s button up shirts. I found both shirts at my local thrift shop , Value World.
Took both shirts and button those two together and created this off the shoulder, crop top. In addition, I tied the shirts in the back and rolled the excess in the front under the shirt. Along with my white pants, I paired them with green platform heels that are trending for the summer.
I learned this style hack from a DC vintage reseller, Tisha also know by Instagram name @elephantinmyroom. To check out this style hack, click here. Make sure to give her follow and let her know I sent you this way!
For the second look I am fan of printed button up. This yin and yang top with blotchy lines drop down shirt. It the aesthetics for me!
After being stalked on Facebook, the ads that continue to pop up. I was influence to purchase this top. I would see it every time I would log on or check my notifications on my phone.
So, long story short I broke and purchase the top from Shein for $13. Lol This shirt is perfect to size and the material is really smooth material. Anyway, I tuck one side of the shirt and paired it with my Steve Madden sporty double sandals. To complete the look, I again added my vintage top handle Saks bag to the mix
The third look is for the girls that love the beach. This on the verge monochromatic look is featuring a H&M ribbed bodysuit. This bodysuit features narrow straps with beautiful low cut back. This body suit paired well with white pants, as it is giving a very nautical aesthetic. To complete the look I added this floppy beach hat. This hat was founded at my local Value World for $5 bucks. Also side the straw like hat is wicker leather strapped bag. I purchase from resale shop in Corktown, Detroit Michigan. Mama Coo’s Boutique never fail when it comes to vintage finds and more.
Lastly, these white pants are ideal for chill day with the girl, or athleisure. I paired my pants with a black crop tank top from H&M for $3.99. I also purchase the top in white. These easy going cotton top is great on those days you just want to take a load off and take it easy. To complete the look I added my black Vintage Coach Bag and black gold studded.
