Happy Wednesday everyone. How have you been doing?  Are you making through the stay at home orders &  the social distancing? For me, I trying to make it. Some day are certainly better than others. Happy Tuesday everyone! The weather was pretty amazing this past weekend. It started off a little nippy on Saturday, however Mother Nature showed us Detroiter some love on Sunday. It was in 60s and it felt amazing. Finally, I can feel comfortable wearing just a leather jacket. That’s exactly what I did! I wore my new brown faux leather jacket from Shein. Happy Monday! How was your January for? As most of y’all would say “January was a trial, I’m going start again in February”. Sis, I get it! January towards the end was really heavy. It certainly left most of us in a whirlwind of emotions. On today’s post I am reflecting, sharing my personal goals, latest fashion style & trends, and a brief blog note. For me, January was full of excitement, chill, with some sadness. However, I was able to celebrate my life. I turned 30 and brought in my birthday in Vegas with some of my closest friends. How has 2020 and the month of January treating you? I know for myself, so far I doing everything I supposed to do. I have been trying to get into a rhythm. I’m not going to lie it been hard. I set a resolution every year. My resolutions range from fitness, eating healthier, and self care. However, like most resolution I set, they become too hard to achieve. It maybe unrealistic or super vague. No action plan oh how I am going to tackle this kind of change. The next thing I know I become unmotivated within the 2 week or month mark and abandon them. I am over setting a resolutions for the new years.  You can say I am “anti- resolutions” this time around. Instead I am setting intentions. Setting an intention is different approach to goal setting. Who is ready for Thanksgiving food? I know I am.  I am ready to chow down on some good food and get closer to my family and friends. When its comes down to picking a Thanksgiving outfit, I like to where a outfit that allows me to stuff my face and still look put together. On today’s post I am sharing my easy go to thanksgiving approved outfit. Staying put together and full is the key when thinking of a Thanksgiving outfit. This outfit I put together was inspired by Rochelle of Beauticurve.com, a plus size blogger. A year ago she put together a few looks for Thanksgiving, and this look was one I was inspired to recreate. Anyway, this casual multi print dress is just what we need to for Thanksgiving. Happy November everyone! Look how quick we transition from Halloween to  the Holiday season, LOL.  If you saw my timeline on Facebook  you would see funny post and memes referencing the Grinch and the girl dancing super hard to jingle bells. Well that how I am going to pull up at my parent’s house for that tasty meal my mom is going to prepare for Thanksgiving. (Sidenote: I am going to help her with the cooking this year).  Yes I love food and Thanksgiving food is such favorite of mine. It is that time yall. It is that time to start consistently wearing a jacket or coat. Honestly.. I am not ready to trade in my light jackets for a heavier coat. I have to face facts! I live in Detroit, and I can not escape from the cold weather. Anyway, I have been looking at different style of jackets and coats. Long coats, trenches, moto jackets… all types.  I recently purchase this inexpensive long coat from Shein. Guess how much I spent on this coat? Take a guess!
