April First…

Happy Wednesday everyone. How have you been doing?  Are you making through the stay at home orders &  the social distancing? For me, I trying to make it. Some day are certainly better than others. To be honest, I am so happy to be in a new month because March has been the longest year in history. We are certainly in a new norm now, and I actively trying to get adjusted to it all. So I happy to get back to blogging! On today’s post I am reflecting, sharing my personal goals, latest fashion style & trends, and a brief blog note for the month of April..

As of lately, I have been trying to find many ways  to keep me calm and ease my anxiety in March.  I have been at Club Quarantine almost every night with Dj DNice, I meditate with a few locals LIVE , and I join the TikTok craze. In this time I definitely trying to keep my mind calm. March was so no way near what I expect it to be, however I am going to make the best of April.

Fashion Note

Let’s talk fashion. Have you had time to wear something other than stay at home clothes?  Outside of my leggings and comfy sets, I haven’t wore anything remotely stylish. It is  bothering me- I miss getting cute.

For the month of April I want to put forth some effort into what I wear, even if I am confined to my home. I believe you can still be fashionable and stylish in the house or with your basic leggings. So your going to see some stylish at home looks, and some of my spring wear I found shopping online.

To add, I am on the hunt for new denim jeans. Denim is certainly an ongoing classic for the spring. Denim midiskirt, trouser cut jeans, and carrot leg denims have definitely been show up on the scene. What type of denim are

Blog Note

Last month was quite challenging.  What to say and bring to table at a time like this? Do I adjust and talk about the current topic or do I keep with my schedule content. I was talking to over with another blogger, and we were both at a crossroad. (Shout out to her for being an awesome accountability partner.) However, I am going to stick what I know and give y’all great content, based off the current climate when need be and stick to my schedule content. Spring fashion and stay at home style will definitely be at topic of discuss.  To add to all, I think we all in need of post that can keep us uplifted during this crazy time. I look forward to bring this to the blog this month.

Personal Note/ Goals

On the personal side of thing, my emotions has definitely shifted a bit from the beginning of March to now. March was certainly a taxing month. Constant updates of the virus, working from home, stay at home order, and afraid to be too closed to people. Everything was being over thought and I was so emotionally drained.   Fear, doubt, and uncertainty crept in.  I had to get back to what I know… prayer and meditation.

Now I  have been working from home for a few weeks now, and I keep an eye out on how many things I  am reading about the virus.  I pray just about every morning, and thought out the day. As I was say earlier, I want to focus on being calm. I refuse to get in my on head, hold back on what I have to offer.

In April my goals are…
  1. Give myself time to pray and meditate in the morning
  2. Exercise for 20-30 minutes for 3 days out of the week
  3. Commit to healthier morning routine- Like pray, continue to stretch, and waking up on time (stop snoozing)
  4. Drink 64oz of water daily
  5. Take 30 minutes to a hour to work on my business plan
  6. Reread “You Are A Badass” by Jen Sincero
