It is that time yall. It is that time to start consistently wearing a jacket or coat. Honestly.. I am not ready to trade in my light jackets for a heavier coat. I have to face facts! I live in Detroit, and I can not escape from the cold weather. Anyway, I have been looking at different style of jackets and coats. Long coats, trenches, moto jackets… all types. I recently purchase this inexpensive long coat from Shein. Guess how much I spent on this coat? Take a guess! Let me know in the comment section. On today’s post I will sharing my thought on this coat, and how I came up with the the quick easy classic everyday look.

On the weekends I like to keep my looks very simplistic. Very minimal!. To also mention is was quite chilly. I needed a coat to keep me warm, but also serve up style. So I pulled out my long houndstooth notched coat that a purchase for Shein. This coat is such a classic piece, and it can be worn any where. Style it up or down.
This coat only cost me $35! It is well insulated featuring quilted polyester material as the lining. The coat also features a lapel neckline and with one button as the closure. I got this coat in a size 2XL. If you decide to purchase this coat I would suggest to size up because this consider a slim fit coat.
Again, this was my weekend where I was doing some run around. I pair this coat with a ribbed-knit shirt, also from Shein. To keep the the look simple and classic, I add my all time favorite denim jeans from Kut from the Kloth. In my opinion, they have some of the best quality denim jeans for curvy women. To finish up the look a pair of velvet ankle boots made the oh so chic. This will not be a FashionLayn official look without some pop of color. Sam Edelman croc bag gave my look just what I needed to complete my fall look with color.
