I am finally back from my actual and mental vacation. Chilllleee it has been so hard to get back to my norm, when you have been having the time of your life. Last month, I had to get away from it all. I was burnt out from my job, I got sick…. it was just too much. Anyway, I went to Atlanta with my girls and now I back from the Labor Day weekend feeling a bit more refreshed and ready to start a new in September. On today’s blog post I will reflect and share my personal goals, what’s coming to FashionLayn.com, and a brief fashion report.
Fall season!! Yassss time to get out my sweaters, fleece, because this is my type of weather. I am thinking about trying out a lot of leather luxe looks, in my opinion is timeless. Also, I want to try out more neutrals look with jeans and bright neon colors for the fall season. Y’all know I love my neons and bright bold colors. On a previous post I express a few trends that I want to try out, click here if you want to check those trends out.

So this month my focus is growing my traffic for both my blog and social media accounts. Along with growth, I still want to continue to keep reaching out to brands. Pitching them and praying that one of them bites. I want to continue to reach however work on not being discourage when I don’t get a response, or no. Overall, I am exciting to see where FashionLayn is going to go. I have been receiving a lot of attention about my blog, and modeling for other brands. In the process of it all, I have been learning a lot more about the industry, and how to navigate through it without getting taking advantage. I super excited to see where all these amazing opportunities lead to.
Personal Note/ Goals
This month I will be actively working on my eating habits. It is time to detox, after my vacation with my girls I am bit sluggish. So I have been making a few better decisions on what I decide to eat and drink. DETOX! Also, a friend of mine told me about portion control. This is definitely something I want to work on when making better decisions with food. Here are a few of my goals that I will be working on:
- Eat MORE fruits and vegetables
- Portion of my food.
- Find a therapist to help me navigate my world clearly without blurred lines
- Committing to my celibacy journey
- Drinking 64oz of water everyday
- Pitch 2 to 3 brands each month- even when they don’t response-KEEP GOING!
- Take 10-20 minutes just for myself only. No blog, No social media, just me!
- Start my holiday shopping
