Happy Thursday everyone. Do you love simple casual look? Well that just what I wore over the weekend. Light, casual, on trend summer outfit that is easy to style. Let not forget affordable, Covid has the girl’s pocket looking a little crazy, right now. We can still look good on a budget. On today’s post I am sharing my easy breezy summer outfit, featuring a over sized button up and cargo pants from Shein.
How was your weekend ? Well this past weekend was amazing. Finally got a chance to relax and just be me. I went Downtown and enjoy the summer like day on the riverfront with my mom. It was beautiful and I needed to get away for the moment.
If you have been following my blog for awhile, then you will know how much I love a simple and affordable look. I decided to go for a monochrome look, which is known summer trend for 2020.
To get this look, I took this light button up blouse and paired it with my breezy khaki color cargo pants, both from Shein. I love natural/ neutral colors.
First the button blouse, features wood like buttons, dual pockets, collar neckline, and a drop down shoulder. The material is thick has texture material that is similar to a thick cotton or woven linen. Nice quality ! This blouse will only cost you $14 and it available in yellow. I am wearing 1X, to give a more over sized feel.
Now for the cargo pants. Honestly, this is my first time ordering bottoms from Shein. I was little nervous because I gain a little weight, and ordering pants are hit and miss for me. Either too tight or too big. Anyway, these cargo pants fit amazing. These cargo pants features an elastic waist line and elastic on the ankle. Two flap pocket! I am wearing size 2XL. Due to the material it is more fitted, so if you want a baggy look, go a sized look. You can get these pants for $16 on Shein.
NOTE: To get a monochromatic look, you have to stay with a similar color palette. So if you where yellow, then you should go with similar yellow colors, and play with yellow texture and more.
To complete this look I added my sage croc bag to give my look some color outside of the neutral. Finishing off the look with gold necklaces, hoop earrings, and an anklet. Very simple right! Can’t forget the tortoise shell frame round glasses from Forever 21.
Overall this outfit is summer like, casual and affordable. I know COVID-19 has a lot of incomes questionable, however you certainly stay stylish by giving this affordable store a try. Stay tuned, summer essential post is coming soon!
