First of May

The first Monday in May. It feels pretty good to be back on my blog. So what has been going on with me? Why did I not post all April ?

Well, April was such a rough month for me. I started off so hopeful and then……. I was battling with my anxiety, bout of depression, and stress. It was all taking a toll on my mental and physical. I felt nausea, tired, cranky, and scared. Also, I cried almost everyday. I felt so defeated.

Simply, I just couldn’t post. My mind was mess. So I told myself its okay and I took a break. Honestly, I felt so guilty for abandoning the things I love to do.

So, I used that time to write out affirmations, pray & meditate, and lastly journaling. All not quick solution but they definitely help me understand where all the stress was coming from. Also stress was the main reason why felt sick to my stomach. My body was under stress and it was telling me that I need to slow down and get center again. I also had understand that I could not control everything. I was letting fear paralyze and swallow me whole.

Thus, No more of this. I reclaiming my time and my happiness. I feel more grounded and aware of WHAT I CAN CONTROL. In addition, I aware of what I can’t control. So I am hopeful that May will be kind to me .

In today’s post I am keeping brief; I am reflecting and sharing my personal goals for the month of May.
