Happy Tuesday everyone.
I finally trying to allow myself back into the creative space that know and love. I must say I feeling little nervous and scrambling right now, trying to get myself back in the habit of blogging.
So I stop blogging all together because I could not post, I was in a creative funk. I did not feel good mentally or physically. The last thing I want to do be unauthentic and something that I know I was not truly happy.
Feeling this way lead me to Instagram and ask few followers and other content creator what they do when they are in a creative funk? One of my blogging buddies, Telly, a blogger and owner of Tellylovesfashion.com, gave me some good advice that help me find my way through my creative, mental burnout.
So now, that is what we are going to address to today. In today’s post, I am sharing 5 things to do when you are in a creative funk. I think this for post is great or any content creator, or those with creative souls having a hard time.

Side Effects of Content Creators
Being a content creator has been a totally fulfilling job for me. Being creative something I would love to spend my whole day doing. However, I am full time worker and I have other things in my life that I have to focus on.
Often times it is look at being easy job and always fun. However, let me tell you the real…. it not and it requires a lot of work. In addition, a lot of folk get creatively burnt out from time to time. It can be stressful to constantly feel like you have to produce content. It hard to continue to engage with you audience.
From my perspective I felt really bad for not being able to post, however I had to do what I needed to do to get the creator back.
What we can do to help us get back on out game is to RESET
5 Things To Do When You Are in A Creative Funk
Here a 5 things you can do to help you reset the content creator in you
1: It okay to take a break. I felt so guilty for abandoning my blogging. However, I was not in the right head space to create, or share content. And simply I had to embrace the slump. It felt really unauthentic to fake happiness. I just could not do it. So yes, take a break as long as you need to help reset the content creator in you.
2: The Pressure gotta go . Being an ongoing content creator can easily put us in creative block. Sometimes we have to remove all the pressures and restrictions that come along with being content creator. Take a break from social media or content creator jobs. Those things can easily make creating not fun anymore. So remove the pressures out of content creator. For example, take a break from your social media timelines. Timeline can add unnecessary pressures to the content creator. Take a step back and breather
3: Finding your muse/ inspiration again. What inspires you? What inspire you to be a content creator in the first place. While you are taking the necessary time away from being creative, ask your why you love creating the content you di in the first place. This is the time you can use to get you back in the swing of creating again. For example, I find using Pinterest to help myself get inspire again. Create pin of things that spark joy for you.
4: Get Active. Being in a creative funk I like to go take a long walk. For example, exercise, yoga and walking can help put you back on the right path to getting out of a creative funk. We need energy and good ole fashion endorphins to get the creative back to creating again.
5: Pen on paper. Journaling among others things have been my saving grace. Sometimes the best thing you can do when you are in a creative rut is to put the pen to paper and just write or draw. When I took a step back my creative juices starting flowing again. Now I am back to blogging.

Overall, creative funks suck but we all can pull ourselves out of it. Doodling and getting back in tune with the creator in us can put on back on the right path to reset. I am so thankful I am back to doing what I love.
