Happy October! I am really looking forward to this month! The reason is….. I am happy to announce that I have started YouTube and my first video is LIVE! Click here to check it out. Queue the Music! Time is certainly flying but I plan to make the most out of this month. October is going to be a great month.
I feel like October is going to be the month full of great things. September was very hard month but I still able to push through my days and come out of victorious. My focus this month is to continue in giving myself grace, quality over quantity, self awareness, and follow through. I want to be more intentional. Overall, the goal is to work on setting my intention in every facet rather it be personal life or social media presences.
So let’s get into this blog. In today’s post I am keeping it brief; I am reflecting and sharing my personal goals for the month of October!

LETS REFLECT FIRST, MADE A LOT OF CHANGES LAST MONTH 🙂
Last month was hard one. I did not realize that I was triggered in so many ways. In therapy I been uncovering a lot of unhealed wounds. I thought they were healed but I had to understand that grief never really goes away. Also had to understand that I was in survivor mode. Usually we try to fix everything with a bandaid, you know that quick fix to help you feel better fast. However you can’t just put a band-aid on something without treating the problem area. Handling grief from my perspective is how we grow around it and cope with it. So I had to do the work, although it is exhausting. Healing is so hard, but I love myself more and I will do the work to be and feel better.
On the next note, I mention early that my goal is to be more intentional this month. The intention I set for the month of October is to have a level of awareness of self.
I intend to do my best today to achieve my goals

IN THE MONTH OF OCTOBER MY GOALS ARE…
- Give myself time to pray and meditate in the morning and at night.
- Continue to journal everyday
- When I am feeling stress out at work, take a day off or use my coping skill technique I learn for anxious moments
- Improve on following through for myself. Take action and trust in my skillset
- Commit to buying from 1-2 black owned business or donate to organization that benefits the Black community, or the underprivileged once a month.
- Say no- stand up for myself.
- Remember to be kind to myself, Giving myself grace. Say one thing you love about yourself everyday.
- I FINALLY START YOUTUBE. Produce 1 video each week to help grow my channel and influence.
