Personal Note/Goals
Trying something different… let’s reflect first!
Yess, I made it to February. I am so glad to be out of January. I have definitely been on a rough roller coaster. If you follow me on Instagram, click here, I shared on my stories that I develop an allergy to dairy. I am lactose intolerant. Nooo!
At the beginning of this year, rapidly I started off getting really sick after eating one of my favorite foods. Cheese bread. I thought maybe it was just bad order. So, maybe I should avoid getting food deliver. Next I got sick off some of my mom’s cooking. Wait what! How Sway? In the midst of all of this I was having eczema break out all over my body. I was itching all over… I haven’t had this since I was a little girl.
At first I thought everything was making me sick until I went to the doctor and they explain everything. Ahhh … It was the dairy in the foods I was eating. Long story short, I have been dairy free for 2 weeks and I don’t know what to eat. LOL ! My goal this month is definitely to find more way to prepare my food without dairy ingredients. That means I have to cook more meals, less eating out. Prepare dairy free meal every week to sustain me through the work week. I made chicken fried rice, next is a big pot of Chicken Tortilla soup. Of course with no dairy! What are your goals for the month of February?
In February My goals are….
- Give myself time to pray and meditate in the morning and at night.
- Prepare dairy free meals to sustain me during the work week. Meal prep on Sundays.
- Stick to blogging plan.
- Commit to buying from 1-2 black owned business or donate to organization that benefits the Black community, or the underprivileged once a month.
- Say no- stand up for myself.
- Remember to be kind to myself, Giving myself grace.
Side note: Let me know if you want me to share dairy free meals, let me know in the comment section
