Finally back on the blog. As usual I always feel great returning to my blog. I got so caught up with having fun and all I had to do this past Memorial Day Weekend, simply I forgot to post.
Happy June! This is the month of grilling, summer vibes, Black Music Month, Juneteenth, and Pride. So I decided to recreate this beautiful flat lay you see here. I made this flat lay to show my support for the LBGTQ+ community, especially for all Black ad Brown folks. Shoutout to the LBGTQ+ community that inspired me everyday . The community in my opinion really helps with my own self confidence. I say live your truth, and you have the right to love, thrive and live.
Overall, I am looking forward to having a great month in June.
In todays post I am reflecting and sharing my personal goals for the month of June.
PERSONAL NOTE/ GOALS
LETS REFLECT FIRST, MADE A LOT OF CHANGES LAST MONTH 🙂
So this is the May was a better month for emotional speaking. With life things are always up and down but it was such a better month for me. I am grateful for it. Now I am working on pushing through everything that life throws my way. Good or bad.
What do you to help you push through the bad things that life throws your way?
For myself, my top goal is work on pushing through things that life throws at me and asking for help . After having an anxiety attack a few days ago. I got some news that scared me. It brought up some triggering things from my past.
Long story short, I couldn’t stop crying and I can feel my breathing becoming more rapid and frequent. I needed someone to help me through it! On top of crying, I was so embarrassed that I had to call my therapist. I need her to help me calm down. The grace that I give myself in the moment that I was able to ask for help. I was spiraling.
How I was able to get myself through my anxiety attack, I was able to reach out my therapist and I got a lot of help from my family and friends. It is okay to ask for help. Overall, my goal is to ask for help and do what I need to do to push through life.
So let get into these personal goals…
IN JUNE MY GOALS ARE…
- Give myself time to pray and meditate in the morning and at night.
- Continue to journal everyday
- When I am feeling stress out at work, take a day off !
- Stick to blogging plan.
- Commit to buying from 1-2 black owned business or donate to organization that benefits the Black community, or the underprivileged once a month.
- Say no- stand up for myself.
- Remember to be kind to myself, Giving myself grace.
In conclusion, my overall goal this month in June is stay present and not get consume by the things I can’t control. I am looking forward to the warmer weather in Detroit. In addition, looking forward to learning how to skate. I recently bought some roller skates from Amazon. Follow me on Instagram to track my progress.
