Wow! Where has the time gone? Can you believe it is already August? I am not sure why this is totally shocking, but I am really feel like we was just in June. Happy July everyone. Yes, We made it yall! We made it out the first half of 2020. On today’s post I am reflecting, sharing my personal goals, latest fashion style & trends, and a brief blog note for the month of July. June has definitely been an emotionally month, some high moments and some low. I was able to officially celebrate Juneteenth, which has been recognize as an holiday in Michigan. I use that time to learn, celebrate with family, and teach others. Next year, I look forward to this holiday, I want to have an actually party. As a country we definitely have a lot more work to do when it comes to addressing the problems we face. However, I plan to make the best out of July. I refuse to let myself be carried away with all stress, and pain. With what is going on I plan to get closer with my faith, and help be the change I want to see for this country. Half way through the year and 2020 is one those things that just keeps on giving, and not in a good way. I am currently at lost for words, not knowing exactly how I should start. Yet again, my system is shock right back into the reality of deeply rooted systematic racism in the USA. Again, another unarmed black man, George Floyd, has been taken due to those that are sworn to protect us, the police. Happy Friday everyone! Is it me or did April fly by. In a blink of an eye we are now in May. Wow!! So how are you doing? Are you working from home? Are you still under a stay-at- home? For myself, I am still working from home and Michigan has extended the stay at home order. Overall, I am okay with it all. I am thankful that I have the option to work from home, and happy that I have more time to myself- it’s kinda of a blessing in disguise. Happy Monday! How was your January for? As most of y’all would say “January was a trial, I’m going start again in February”. Sis, I get it! January towards the end was really heavy. Geesh, the time has flew by. Can you believe it, we are already in July? Crazy right! Anyway it is blazing hot outside. Summertime in Michigan its really hot. It goes from 0 to 100 in no time. Blazing, OKAY! I got a lot of pots on the stove this month and I hope to accomplish everything that is on my plate this July.
