Fashion Note

Let’s talk about fashion. Fall season in on the horizon.  Ahhh my favorite season for clothing. I love fall. Hence, we are walking into that weird time where you kind of don’t know how to dress.  But I am here for it. The weather  in August for Detroit is all  over the place. One week it is hot and then the next, it can be on the cool side. It is the in-between season. My focus when it comes to fashion,  is summer to fall  transitional pieces that are suitable for summer. This month I am going to start previewing some pre-fall affordable looks. Are you looking forward to fall months?

To switch gears, this is also the best time to load up on clothing from the store.  Lots of sales are going on.  You can get a lot of deals on summer wear for next fear,  or get some spring pieces that work for fall. Use those sales to you advantage. Are you enjoying the Nordstrom sale? Nordstrom has a huge sale going on right that you can get a lot of name brands piece at affordable, sale prices. Take advantage yall!

Personal Note/ Goals

On the personal  side of things I have been focusing on growth.  In month of July I have been realize how much I want to grow in my personal  career and my blog. So I took some accountability and took my growth into my own hands.  In order to gain success you have to get comfortable with being uncomfortable .  So I decided to take a leap of faith and apply for a new job, that it challenge. I have been sitting on  this for while now. I will  share more about how it goes in new post.  Overall  I have been committing to my mourning routine  and eating a little better. I see some growth. What about you?

  1. Give myself time to pray and meditate in the morning and at night.
  2. Exercise for 20-30 minutes for 3 days out of the week
  3. Commit to healthier morning routine- Like pray, continue to stretch, and waking up on time (stop snoozing)
  4. Commit to buying  from 1-2 black owned business or donate to organization that benefits the Black community, or the underprivileged once a month.
  5. Hit my monthly goal at my ( for 6 months straight) job to make it to an executive position within my team.

What are your goals this month?
